Can Online Training really transform your body?

There was a time, not long ago, when the concept of "online personal training" was met with distinct skepticism. If you had asked me about it a few years prior to the global shift caused by the pandemic, I might have told you the idea seemed vague—perhaps even impersonal.

Today, the landscape has shifted. We have grown accustomed to the digital interface, however, disparities are sure to exist. Some will argue there is "nothing like in-person coaching," while some may say that online methods are as efficient as offline.

As a trainer who has spent years training clients both on the gym floor and remotely, I want to offer you an unfiltered perspective. I have witnessed online clients achieve amazing results. A standout example is Rahul Kancharala, who trained with me remotely from the US. When Rahul approached me, he weighed 140kgs. In just under four and a half months, we managed to drop 45kgs. I analyzed his lifestyle, accounted for his dietary constraints, managed potential injury risks, and designed a bespoke plan that fit his reality. The success of clients like Rahul stems from trust and dedication. They trust the programming, they trust my severity regarding standards, and that translates into performance.

The most common thread among my successful online clients is the utilization of freedom. Whether it’s my availability or their inability to travel to my facility, such constraints are removed. Online coaching offers a flexibility of schedule and environment that in-person training simply cannot match.

However, Online coaching does really transform your body, but only if the following criteria are met:

  • You don't need a coach standing over you to finish a set.
  • You show up to your sessions consistently, even on the days you don't "feel" like it.
  • You are willing to share data, feedback, and progress updates openly.
  • You are not someone who needs to be physically dragged from point A to point B to get moving.

If you recognized a hesitance when you read that list, online coaching could be a challenge for you. However, that is where my work as a trainer starts. For me, fitness is more than a career – it is a responsibility. It is my aim to pass on my knowledge so that you can live your life on a high level on your own. I also ensure that my online programming has the same effectiveness as offline sessions in my personal gym.

If you are serious about change and are committed, online coaching is an incredibly powerful coaching tool. It is also very convenient, very affordable, and very accurate. The bottom line is this: The question isn't whether online coaching works—it’s whether you are ready to make it work. The tools, the guidance, and the strategy are ready.
